Gouging rods are used for cutting and boring, removing of defects
in welds and casts, grooving on the back of weld and flushing the excess metal
of the weld.

The carbons, with grooves in comparison with the ones without grooves, have layer
copper coated surfaces which result in greater electrical conductivity and can
be used for automatic manual gouging to reduce stub loss.

Gouging carbon rods are used for metal romoval at fast rates with low power consumption. Generally used to remove welding defects, excess welds and foundry risersfrom cast products. Our carbon gouging rods are precisely machined and manufactured in state of the art facilities.

 Jointed gouging carbon rods are machined with male and female ends allowing continuous operation with no wasteage of stub ends. These items can be used in manual and automatic applications with high metal removal rates.
